Villa Chiericati

The Villa Chiericati, built in the early 1550s, was the building in which Palladio for the very first time “added an antinque temple pronaos to the main body of the villa. The temple-front design would become a typical motif in later projects, such as the Rotonda and the Malcontenta.”
(Beltramini, p. 138)
